I would definitely say apply for the Undergraduate of the Year Awards as, no matter how far you get, the whole process is rewarding!

The whole process, from my written application to the final, has improved my networking and communication skills massively. Being a finalist for the Young Activist award has shown me my potential and the options that I have going forward into a career. This has allowed me to meet like-minded young people and network with top employers in the legal field.

Personally, the assessment day at Clifford Chance was the most valuable part of the process for me as it gave me a true insight into what the interview process is like when applying for a legal position. In particular, receiving feedback from my interview showed me what I did well on and what I can improve on for future interviews.

The final was an amazing day, as not only did I meet all of the finalists from the Activism Award, but it gave me the opportunity to meet students from across all of the awards. Hearing the success stories from all of the winners and the work that everyone is doing was inspiring and insightful.
